Well here we are at the start of another year...... Am I the only one or does it only seem like yesterday that we were welcoming in the new millennium. And now over a decade has passed us by......
I hope that 2012 will be a fantastic year for everyone. Has everyone made New Years Resolutions...???? One of mine is to try and keep on top of my blogs and keep my website up to date..... I don't know why I just keep getting behind all the time.
My last bit of crafting for 2011 were these little wall nut pincushions. I think they have turned out cute.... Another of my resolutions is to have stock made for the three big craft shows I attend each year. So I am on my way... LOL
I am working on some new patterns... This is something a little different. I have made two of thse button creations. I like them ... what do you think..??????
I have magazine projects coming this year as well, more details as I am allowed to reveal them. I had better get stuck into this pattern writing... the part I love most of all...NOT !!!!!!!

We had a wonderful day at Marg's on Tuesday...... I received some gorgeous pressies and some yummy ones. Unfortunately I cannot show you the yummy ones as they have been eaten. Rum balls, ginger balls and fruit cake.

Just my colours... everyone thinks I have tons of dolls... but I don't as I sell all the ones I make.......
Maree gave me this snowman to add to my collection of Christmas decorations.
Plus Maree also gave me the blue coasters and Marg gave me the mug mat... plus Marg also gave me all the yummy goodies and a diary for 2012...

It didn't have the lacey frilly coathanger in the top, but it was the only one I could find in a hurry.... LOL Ronnie received Red Dog DVD from Maree and a mug mat and yummies from Marg......
I am off here now to go out back and help in the garden.... one of my favourite pastimes....NOT!!!!!!!!! LOL

It is almost time for the Jolly Fat Fella to be dropping in on us all. So I hope you have been good. I must of been as I am getting pressies... LOL In fact I have already received some..... I will take pics over the weekend and show you all the goodies I received.
At the beginning of the month I did a quilt show in Brissie... It was quiet but nice and I did manage to sell quite a bit so I am happy. Here are some pics of my stall.....
As usual the ruler stands sold well. They are a brilliant idea, you store all your rulers on top in the slots and in the draws you store your cutters, scissors and templates... so handy. Everything is in the one place.
These pics are of the craft table... Not much left as it is the end of the year but still enough to fill a table.
I wanted to show you all this little cutie that I made... isn't he adorable... He never sold so is still living with me... LOL
This cutie pie is my latest design. Her name is Kitty Kat and I will be writing the pattern very soon... how adorable is she... she sold.... so I will have to make another one for my sample. I showed her to you all a couple of posts ago.
I also have some good news.... I will be in the Handmade magazine next year. Not exactly sure when as they are hoping to slot me into the January issue... here is a little sneeky peek at what I have made... can't show more as it is a surprise...LOL

This is something we made for a friend. It is one of our Tic Tac Toe games... compact and cute.
She also ordered these two dolls... they were all gifts for their grand children who they were down visiting.
Below are some gifts I made for my friends...we had our annual GTG on Tuesday... Lunch was very yummy we had Chinese and for dessert we had Pav...... we had a lovely day... thanks Marg, Maree and Jeanette... My hubby Ron was also there to enjoy the day.
The blue cushion was for Marg and the purple cushion was for Jeanette's. Sorry I cannot show you what Maree got as it will be in the mag.... but it is very cute. Everyone who has seen her has fallen in love with her.... and some have even tried to steal her... LOL

Nature has a terrible way of bringing us back to earth... I awoke this morning and as usual my first stop was to check on the baby Willy Wag Tails... and bummer the nest and the three babies have disappeared... I am presuming a ferral cat has gotten them. Mum and Dad have been searching and cherping for hours for them. They have given up now as all is quiet.......
But here are the pics I was going to post of them to show you all how big they had grown..... What a difference a week makes in their growth.........
Why does it have to be so sad.........
I am still on my cleaning streak... and I have found quite a few packets of the mice... but alas still only one cage....LOL

Well I just have a little embellishing still to do on the cat dolls... I am thinking a bell around their necks... I wanted to put a little furry mouse in one hand and a little cage in the other hand... but yep you guessed it I have lost both... Haven't the foggiest where I have put them....... but they will turn up eventually... I hope.. may take years though...... I only had the mice the week before last, but the little cages... well It has been quite awhile since I last saw them......
But here are the cats... still have to think of a name for them as well...
This is the mice and cage that I am looking for... Hubby made the cages and the mice are cat toys from the supermarket..... lucky I take pics of almost everything we make... LOL
I am also painting on the covers of some note books... will have pics in a day or two so you can all see my little cuties that I am painting on them......

We had a quick visit to St George, stopping in Toowoomba both ways to visit with our gorgeous grand baby Xavier.....
Before we left we had a Willy Wagtail sitting on a nest on the cover over our bathroom window.....
She leaves regulary to eat etc... I have been checking out the window every time I walk by to see if there is any sign of life yet... Hubby said he thought he saw her feeding a baby...
Then I saw one little head... I kept checking and then I saw two... more checking and eventually I have confirmed that there are three babies in the nest.
I will keep the camera handy and get more pics as they grow...
Another reason we like to keep our cameras handy is our beautiful grand son Xavier.....
Here he is dressed in his reindeer outfit... Xavie- deer as we call him... LOL
I have been making a new doll and will have pics up very soon. Just have to paint the face today. I am actually making two. One will be my sample and one is for my friend Maree for her birthday...... It is a cat doll... so cute, She is free standing, wears toddler shoes and socks and has a mouse in her hand. You should feel her fat little belly...... I love it... LOL
I have also been doing a bit of cleaning and rearranging around here... not my favourite task.. but has to be done. But would you believe I finally found my laminator. Anyone who knows me knows how I loose things regulary... some have been missing for years, I kid you not... I still haven't found the tin with my little tiny teddies in it. The laminator has been missing for almost two years.... But I did find the doll shoes and socks awhile back... they were missing for almost a year. I know you are all wondering how can I loose things... I just do... and my laminator is an A3 one so not really tiny. And in the plastic box with it was laminating pouches and a box of wooden things... brooches, buttons etc etc.... I didn't even realize they were missing.
While rearranging I found some wonderful fabric that I never realized I had either... it is stripes, checks and reverse spots so there are 4 bolts altogether..... I am hoping to get some fabric cut for the up comng quilt show... the last of our shows for this year. I was asked to make the tags that will be handed out at the door for everyone who comes to the quilt show. Here is one... what do you think..????
Well I had better get off here and get into some more work.. I have patterns to write up plus truckloads of orders and Chrissy pressies to make.

I remembered to take my camera with me this time..... so here are some pics of my stall and a few new things that I finished....
This is my quilting stall... I have a couple of things to take in this afternoon and a few more things to hang on the back wall..... The blue boxes have my fat quarters in them...... I have left a space on the table for my Cottage Garden Threads and some new ruler stands that hubby has just finished.
Next we have pics of the craft stall..... I had a thing for pears and you will see some in desert glasses, one painted with a lady bug sitting on it and three in a basket... they are on top of the large wooden cupboard with the glass door.
Now a few close ups.... This first one is a kids table and 4 chairs.. this set has Raggedies in the seat back and painted int he four corners on the table.
Thus ione is of the painted pear and the pear in a glass dish....
Next I have two of my note books with cute Raggedies painted on them....
My third note book has a cute bear painted on it...
There are a few things that I have to wrap this afternoon... hopefully I will remember to take pics of them as well.......
