Just testing to see if this blog is still active.
As you will have noticed I have been absent for one year. Well almost. Last year was the year from hell for us regarding sickness. Both hubby and I were pretty sick and both went into hospital at different times. I was bed ridden for a month prior to Christmas and then was very shaky with my walking for quite awhile. Almost back to where I was before getting crook.
Now I have made a very hard decision and that is I will close this blog down. I cannot be sure this year will be much better then last year health wise.
So at the end of the month this blog will close. Click on the words Blogspot blog and it will take you to my other blog as I will still keep it open and blog when I can. blogspot blog .
Hopefully I will be able to get some more blogging done. Thank you to everyone who have supported me over the years of this blog.

Would you believe we have been flooded in again... Yes twice in a week. Finally got out on Thursday morning and went under again on Saturday night. But thankfully the water was gone off the road by yesterday afternoon.
I am still stitching away here.... so no pictures yet to share... but this morning I have decided to paint so I will finish my latest two dolls and do some other painting that I have ready to go..... Tomorrow I will post pics of the two new cuties.....
Recently we had another memorable day where I knew exactly where I was and what I was doing 22 years ago. It was last Monday... our baby turned 22... how time flies......
So what did we do to celebrate... went to the movies and had lunch at our favourite eatery in Ipswich Mall.
The movie we saw was Handel and Gretel Witch Hunters... Boy was it good... we loved it.
A bit of swearing in it and would you believe that Hansel, due to the fact that when he was taken by the witch as a child and was forced to eat a lot of candy... was a diabetic......
We also saw four trailers for upcoming movies Jack [as in Jack and the bean stalk] GI Joe..... Bruce Willis and the Rock... what more could a woman want. The Last Stand with Arnold Swachnagger Spelt that one wrong for sure... LOL and the last was the latest Die Hard movie... once again Bruce Willis... they all look fantastic and I want to see them all........
We are off to Toowoomba today to celebrate a combined party for our youngest and second youngest birthdays. We were going to have a lovely picnic in the park... but rain is forecast so it may be at our other daughter's place.
February is a busy birthday month for us... Our youngest grand daughter is on the 1st, my youngest sister is on 2nd, our baby is on 11th, our eldest grandchild is on the 14th... she turned 21, our eldest grand son is on 17th and so is my Mum and she is a twin...our second youngest is on 24th.
I am making some new dolls... Just have the faces to paint.... so pics will be on here very soon.
This doll Lacey Christina and Bindi is now ready as a pattern... $7 for an e pattern.
Well I am off to do a few other things on my computer before I have to get brekky and then off to Toowoomba.....
Well I have made something totally different for me... it isn't pretty but is oh so pactical. Hubby has been buying bits and pieces for his camera that he got for Christmas and he has a really beaut camera bag with all these compartments to hold everything. What did I make for him... a little pouch to hold his remote for his camera. This way they don't just roll around in the bag......
He is rapped with it... I have to make some more similar to hold his new lenses.
This pattern is finally finished and ready for sale. $7 for an
e pattern.......
Just e mail me if you would like one. Payment can be by Pay Pal. Aussies can also pay by direct deposit.
Water has almost completely gone now... but boy does it smell..... we finally got out of our yard today... though I did go for a slide in the mud right in the gateway..... never hit it though... Lucky...
Have fun everyone.........
It's only on special days that we can remember what we were doing years ago... and for us today is one of those special days. I know exactly what I was doing 41 years ago today...
Yes it is our wedding anniversary...... and boy have we changed... LOL
But from that day 41 years ago... we have now aquired all of this...... a wonderful family....
I wouldn't change one day of my life... even the downs shape us into what we become... and I am happy with who I am....
Seeing as we are flooded in, hubby and I spent the day yesterday pulling apart our very old photo albums... we will scan and digitize all of the ones we are going to keep. Some wonderful memories came flooding back... excuse the pun... LOL
Hubby is cleaning up the old photos in Photo Shop and they are coming up really good.....
Still flooded in here, but the sky is blue and cloud free so today at long last we can wash...... The laundry is so high a kangaroo couldn't jump over it.
I will enjoy our special day even though we are flooded in... I look on it as lake frontage so it makes me feel better. And we are dry, well kind of... LOL... The water never came near our house... I thank the person who chose to place the house here... we have stayed out of the water in all of the floods.
I am a craft a holic and I love Raggedies.
