Flooded in again.....

It was only a week or so back we were all watching the State burn up with devastating bush fires... now this week we are flooded.... again.....

I took these pics early this morning... since then we have had to move our car and big trailer as the water was getting very close. Water is now in the house across the road and where he parked his car on the embankment on our side of the road... well the water is now just about to get inside his car as well.......

I will keep an eye on the water level and if need be we will have to move more stuff to get our car and trailer further up the yard.

At least we went grocery shopping on Saturday morning so we are OK food wise... The poor cats are going stir crazy being inside all the time......

Thank goodness we haven't lost power so we can still be on our computers..... but everything is so damp..... feels like chicken and vegetable soup weather... so I am off to make some.......

I have finished another doll... a different kind of doll for me... I quite like her... will make a few adjustments before writing a pattern for her......

Plus I have also finished one for the magazine... Oh come on you didn't think I was going to show you all of her did you...??????

Time for me to do a water check and start the chicken soup....

It's been too hot to craft.....

But I have to get back into it all again..... Though we haven't exactly just been sitting around doing nothing. For Christmas Hubby got a new camera and Photoshop Elements 11. Then after Christmas we got him his own computer... I could never get on mine... LOL

Hubby has been teaching himdelf PS Elements 11 from a DVD he bought from the States... He is getting pretty good and this is only after a few days... I am so impressed... He did this.....

The doll that is sitting at Xavier's feet is the Kooser that his Mum had when she was little... yes I keep everything.... LOL

So everyday we are on our computers working away... I have been making bew siggy tags... I finally added my new drawing tablet to my computer and it is soooo good... I also have a new mouse a Razer... This mouse is fantastic........

Today so far it is quite nice... so the plan is to make two dolls today. One for Patchwork and Stitching and one is an idea I have to make either a pixie or a fairy doll.... I will see how she turns out... I have also written this one up as a pattern.....

Anna-Mae and her toy Kitty...... $7 for an e pattern. I need to buy new toner for my printer before I can have hard copies available... and trust me new toner will be around $800 for my printer... not cheap...LOL So at the moment it is only e patterns.....

Well I had better get off here if I am to get started on the dolls...

Another doll finished.....

Well I have finished another doll... What do you think... I was just being lazy so I decided seeing as I only found three legs... I would make one full doll and two make do dolls... Yes while cleaning some more... gosh I hope this phase passes soon... LOL    I found some metal candle sticks... so I am using them as make do stands for dolls... the next one will be a cat holding a Raggedy..... That leaves me with 1 leg and 2 arms... I will think of some use for them... LOL

I have a few more things I have to get finished today before we head off to Toowoomba after lunch to help our son in law celebrate his birthday........

 

 

Another new year....

Well I saw out the old year making these... I had a very relaxing day.... I managed to make 18... so I am never going to be rich as I only sell them for $1...... LOL

Then yesterday I made this...... How sweet is she....???????

And I made another spider... I love red so had to make a red one.......
Today there wil be no crafting as I have a cleaning day planned.. yes I said cleaning... YUCK big time... One of our daughters is coming down to help me for the day... so we will get twice as much done.. well that is the plan... LOL

So I had better get off here and get ready for when she gets here......

Well here we are at the end of 2012

What a year it has been... I am hoping that 2013 will be better and everyone one will have their dreams realized......

I have been busy as usual... I have had a little break from the normal thigs I make and have done some crocheting... Embellishments to use in scrap booking. I enjoy making these... they are quick and easy and relaxing.

Boy have I been busy..........

I have been flat out as usual and still have a lot more to get made... 11 dolls and one cot quilt.

I have made these two reindeer dolls to go to a customer.....

I have also made this little cutie....... A Valentine doll for Creative Times on line magazine.......

She has a cute little sock bunny in her hand....... Hey you didnt think I was going to show you a clear pic did you now......?????????

Here is the little sock bunny..... I didn't design this one I found it here ... but I just gave it my little twist... they are so quick and easy to make.

Yes her shoes are on the right feet... they just have a little D ring on the inside and are valcro closed on the outside... LOL

We have been to our last craft show for the year and once again it was a huge success. No I have more magazine projects to finish off and also projects for the on line US magazines as well..... and somewhere in amongst it all I have to fit in Christmas... LOL

I have to get off here now and start my work for the day.......

Yes that is the veil blowing away in the wind. You can see how high it went... Tim was lucky to catch the tip of it in his fingers as it was coming down about to land in the back of a passing ute... LOL

I am getting ready for my Show in Gatton in just over a weeks time. I love this show... it is Christmas in the Country which is hosted by The Peace Lutheran school in Gatton.

I will have some pics to show you shortly of things I have made. There are some cuties.  In the meantime I would like to share with you some pics that Pam Bancroft has sent me of the dolls she has made from my Maddison pattern that was in Handmade a little while ago.

Pam emailed me for permission to make a few and sell them at her local Chrtstmas market. I made Pam some tags to add to her dolls and gave them to her saying she is the maker and I am the designer. If anyone wants to sell dolls made from my patterns. I make and send these tags to you for free. All you have to do is download, print off and laminate. Then just attach them to your dolls. Below is a sample of one of the tags I made for Pam.
