I thought I had more pics.....

 Well I thought I had more pics of things I have made lately... But alas I haven't taken pics of some of the things. But some are better then none at all... LOL

This is a pencil holder... I have made it from a tin and will have instructions on how to make these on my blog that I share with Jan Knight. The instructions will be posted around the middle of next month.

 

These are the first two blocks in the free Teddy BOM on the blog I share with Jan Knight. The next part of this BOM will be posted in our next post.

I have also been working on dolls, crocheting on hand towels and around face washers. So a lot more pics to come soon.....

This was our stand at the recent Rosewood Quilt show. It was a fantastic show and so lovely in the new hall.

 

My neighbour at this show was Suzi Blue.... Suzi and I have now each other for quite a few years so it was nice to be so close we could chat and catch up on things... when we had time that is.....

 

I promise I will have more things to show you soon. Just yell at me if I forget.....

There are actually three in this set of drawings. Two are hand in hand and two are seperate. So please draw them according to the pics below.

I am still here.

I know it has been awhile since I last posted. I just didn'tt realize how much life would get in the way with my blogging. Hubby is doing OK and we have had a few Doctor appointments that we have had to attend.

Our youngest daughter has returned back home to live for awhile. We have managed to go away for a week to St George to catch up with our two children who live out there. Plus our eldest daughter also popped out there for a weekend to catch up with us all as well. And our middle daughter and her new baby came out with us... so we had 4 of our 5 children together... that doesn't happen very ofter now that they have grown up. Our youngest daughter stayed home here to look after our two cats and the dog.

We had a lovely time out there, but at home things went very wrong at the end of the week. On Friday we received a very distressed call from our youngest to say one of our cats had been hit by a car and died. So we were all sad. We came home the next day and the cat that was still with us was moping around and not his usual self at all. Then would you believe that on Friday exactly one week later I found him almost dead on our bathroom floor.

I couldn't find a mark on him and almost to the exact hour as she died the week before he died in our daughter's arms. We think he died of a broken heart... he was just so lost with out her. They both came from the same place and were almost the same age, but were from different mothers. He was the cat from hell... but boy did we shed some tears over him.......

So I am hoping this Friday goes a lot better then the last two. Especially since I have to go to the eye specialist in Toowoomba for my yearly check up on the tear that is at the back of my eye.

We have a huge craft show to get ready for next week. I have had to drop back to one table, I usually have two, but we have been so busy with hubby and his cardio rehab that we have just not had time to get everything that we would like to have done.

If anyone is in the Mt Tambourine area next week please go to the big Christmas craft show in the Vonda Youngman Hall next to the police station. It starts on Thursday and finishes on Sunday.

I will now look for some pics of a few things that I have managed to get finished over the past month. They will be in the next post.

Back again

I have had three sick people to look after in the past week... I hope it is all over with now and that I don't catch it, as I have a quilt show this weekend in Rosewood. So if you are in the area... please pop in and see all the wonderful quilts and goodies on show.

I have managed to get the Raggedy Twins finished and the pattern is written... they sure are little cuties....

Hard Copy is $12 AUD... that includes postage.

E pattern is $7 AUD...

 

I have also finished this pattern called Raggedy Angel....

Hard Copy is $15AUD... that includes a set of wire wings. Packaging and postage will be $5 in Australia

And I am working on this pattern..... A cat brooch.....

 

 I have also done some new drawings and will stitch them out and make them into patterns soon. A step closer to being finished.....

I just have to paint the faces on my new little cuties...... What do you think so far...????? If all goes to plan they will be finished tomorrow....

 

I have also finished the bag that has the freebe stitchery on the pocket. The stitchery is available from our other blog.

Today we are off to Toowoomba to spend the day with Xavier and his Mum & Dad.... so there will be more pics of our little darling as Pop has his camera all charged and ready to go.... LOL

Finally some crafting......

Yes at long last I am doing some crafting... I am making 2 small dolls and I am also finishng off the freebee bag and pattern for our Jan & Cath's Bits & Bobs blog.......

Here are the dolls... not much to look at yet... but they will soon be finished.....

Come on he is a boy and we know that once he gets a little older he will be coming from trouble or on his way to trouble... so another pic of him sleeping is lovely..... LOL

 

I have been crafting this week in amongst the other life stuff I had to do... I made two dolls... but I never got time to take any pics as I had to rush them off to my sister to take to the USA with her... she literally had the bag open on the floor just waiting for the dolls to arrive... then she was off. I made it by the skin of my teeth.... LOL

My sister is an author and is in the States for something to do with her book which is being published.......

But I am working on other projects so there will be crafting pics shortly......
